A Little Bit About Me
I�ve variously been described as charming, down to earth, fun to be with, intelligent, witty, cheerful and dizzy. Of course, an element of bias is only to be expected from friends and family ; )

To that list I�d add that I�m kind, compassionate and extremely loyal to those I care about. Easy going, self reliant, open minded and tolerant with a good sense of humour that does verge on the cheeky at times! Also, I've never been married before, so no baggage - wow, what a catch!!

I�m a lively professional with an enquiring mind and love nothing more than good conservation whether it�s silly banter discussing why cats are intelligent and dogs aren�t or world affairs. I lead an active life and am interested in most things and enjoy travel (I hope to see a lot more of the world with that elusive special someone), good food and eating out, lazy Sundays spent pottering about in the garden and reading the papers and mooching around museums and galleries.

I also love the outdoors, walking, cycling, playing tennis (badly!), gardening, and fooling around with my nephew and niece.

Whilst Islam is an important part of my daily life and I'm very fortunate to have completed Umrah (alhumdullilah) I take a non-judgemental and "live and let live" approach to life.

What I Am Looking For
Morrissey once sang that ?It takes strength to be gentle and kind? ? I couldn?t agree more and these qualities are, to me, hugely attractive in a man.

Of course, physical attraction is important too but beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I?ve yet to swoon over a pretty boy!! I guess I?m looking for companionship; someone easy going with "get up and go", quietly confident, comfortable in his own skin and secure enough within himself to welcome a thoroughly modern Muslim woman into his life.
